I cut a piece of mountboard and glued on torn pieces from an Alice in Wonderland book I have used previously. I then dry brushed Beach Hut and the Snowflake Fresco Finish paints over the top. I cut out an Alice from the fabulous Graphic 45 paper and cut two slits where her arms fold and popped in a stamped paint brush from Wendy Vecchi (adding a little London Bus Fresco Finish paint at the tip).
The top of each page from my Alice book has the book's title and so I glued it to a little card to give it a little strength and then cut out each word and added Broken China Distress Ink to the edges.
The flowers were kraft card, covered in metal tape, die cut (using the Tattered Pine cone die) and painted with Snowflake or London Bus paints before being lightly sanded and a little Vintage Photo Distress Ink on the edges. For foliage I added some die cuts (Elegant Flourishes die).

It's gorgeous!! I love the paintbrush.
I love this image and how you have painted your roses red. In fact, I love how you have combined all of the elements in this tag, so clever.

It's stunning - love that you used the pages too, though I still can't get myself to do that often! Great colours and fab roses. Take care Zo xx

Fabulous Gabrielle, love how you have given Alice a pencil and the roses are sumptuous. Great background using pages from an Alice book. Tracy x
