I die cut lots of cogs and stuck them to a large tag. I then covered them with metal tape and burnished them so the cog shape was clearly defined. Then I set to with lots of alcohol inks and paint so they looked more, well, industrial!
The heart was made by covering card in metal tape and embossing it. I drew a heart shape on the back, cut it out and covered it in alcohol ink. A few added extras and my heart tag was complete!
I hope you will join in with us this month - and there will be lots of inspiration on the blog from my very talented team mates! Thank you, as always, for popping by.

Love, love, love this x
Gosh this is such a fabulous idea and so beautifully made. I'm bowled over by the way you've burnished metal on top of the cogs. How did you get it so precise?? It must have taken ages to get it so smooth. I really love that heart! What a great idea Gabrielle!
