I made two sets of leaves from Grungepaper using Wendy's Art Part as a template, covered them with Shabby Shutters Distress Stain and stamped a dotty stamp with Peeled Paint Distress Ink.
I cut two Grungepaper flowers from my Tattered Florals die using my trusty Vagabond. I inked one twice with Broken China Distress Stain, and one once with Tumbled Glass Distress Stain. Both were edged with Faded Jeans Distress Ink and the lighter was stamped with dots in Faded Jeans. The centre of the flower is the spring from a watch and a brad.
The letters were Grungeblocks, I glued the letters to an appropriately sized block, painted them with Pitch Black Paint Dabber. When they were dry I sanded the top (and a little of the sides) and then inked them with Vintage Photo Distress Stain. A chain, couple of jump ring and eyelets and I was finished! I think it might need a butterfly or two - I'm going to leave that for the next time my mojo does a disappearing act! So - what do you do when inspiration deserts you? Gabrielle x
ps the sign is hanging from the birdcage I told you about here - please feel free to click if you want to see 'she who eats art'!

Very nice madam and yes a good tidy up finds all sort of projects half forgotten about!
This is lovely Gabrielle. I know how you feel. Sometimes life just get's in the way.

its amazing what you find after a good tidy/sort out, hate ironing myself so I leave it a little while...well actually quite a while

Glad you found some inspiration again Gabrielle, your hanging sign is gorgeous!
I usually flick through some craft mags when I need a kick-start. In fact, my mojo has just returned from a mini-break, think it's still in holiday mode though! Lol! xx
Good to see you found your mojo and thank you for sharing it with me. Finished hanging looks great x
A fabulous hanging Gabrielle - glad your mojo is back.
xxx Hazel.
