A chunky birthday card

My lovely friend Bev had a birthday yesterday and as her present a class at the feet wonderful Lin at L.B. Crafts I wanted to make her something to open, and also something that she might be able to keep in her lovely Craft Room.

So I covered a small wooden block with some of Tim's Kraft Resist paper and inked it with Peeled Paint Distress Stain. Then I used a variety of Wendy Vecchi stamps, aTim Holtz ticket,  Distress Stains and Distress Inks on white card.
Then I cut out two rosettes, inked them with Milled Lavender and Dusty Concord Distress Stains and added a Grungeboard Mixed Mini 'B'. Happy birthday Bev - hope you had a wonderful day! Gabrielle x

This is lovely, really tempted by using wooden blocks, need to raid the shed for old scraps! And the colour scheme is one of my favourites. jo xx
