WOYWW 142

Thanks to Tom for this 'before' photo - he stood on my chair so apologies if the photo makes you feel a little seasick!
So Wednesday lovers it's here again and what better way to celebrate than to join in with Julia's band of nosey neighbours over at What's on your Workdesk? Wednesday?! This week I offer you a sort of before and after shot of my desk - the before speaks for itself and the after...
Well it was spotless and then I had a little play before remembering I was supposed to photograph the desk in it's newly gleaming state! Lots of Cut and Dry Foam and masks ready to be cleaned (which I did!) See the ribbon on my desk? It's an escapee from here:
and I have more here:
Not really sure why I hoard ribbons but hoard them I do and am very reluctant to use them! I also hoard inks, stamps, Art Parts, Ideaology, paints, papers... you get the idea! Have a truly fabulous Wednesday!

We are all hoarders! i do use my ribbon though. I tend to hang onto my ideaology stuff cos it is so pricy and I don't want to just use it on tags, must be on something that is going to last...silly but hey we all do it!

I hoard all sorts, you never know when it will be needed! I hoard my idea-ology too... love the high up shot - hope you held onto his legs..
have a great day, Helen 41 with nothing you haven't already seen today, due to my blogger issues (it's an I.E problem apparently... but I know I.E users not affected so think blogger are stumped!)

I reckon all us crafter's hoard just about anything we can get our creative hands on! Good on Tom for standing on the chair to take an aerial shot! Enjoy this week's WOYWW snoop around the world. Take care Zo xx 83

Hi Gabrielle, I giggled at the thought of Tom balancing on the chair to help you. My hubby Tim would do that for me , its nice when they help you with your hobby.
I hoard everything too, I lost full use of my right hand three years ago and thought my crafting days were over , but I still bought ribbons and stamps just to have them and look at them , Im back to crafting now, its not as easy to craft as before but I wouldnt be without my hobby.

Happy Wednesday from another hoarder here, ribbons, stamps, paper, pictures cut out of magazines, bits of interesting wrapping paper - you name it and I hoard it.
Lovely neat desk in the second photo, sure it won't stay like that for long.

Once upon a time I had order and nicely wrapped ribbon spools...now I have deadlines and Ribbon rage bags! You gotta use that stash my dear - get the distress stains on them. Hope the chunky ATC is coming along well - just be you and enjoy every side! Thanks for letting us look in, enjoy WOYWW and your week, Sarah at 16.

I think hoarding stuff just goes along with the hobby. I had quite a chuckle over the escapee ribbon. I think it was trying to get out of the chaos. The overhead shot of your desk was neat, but a little too high altitude for my tastes.

Most crafters have a second hobby - hoarding! Now and then some of my friends have clear outs - my clear outs don't work that well.
Love your ribbons though, especially the tangled ones.
Thanks for sharing on WOYWW - Hugs, Neet #33 xx
