Today is a special little chap's 9th birthday. He is one of my Cubs and part of a really lovely family who have become our friends. Tom told me just what I should make as a birthday card for Cam and so I did as I was told!
Tom said that Cam would like the cogs (like I did on my dad's card) and so I used PaperArtsy Fresco Finish paints (Nougat and Irish Cream) onto a tag made from grey board and then used my cogs and numbers masks. I then sanded the tag and used Vintage Photo Distress Ink on the edges.
I cut out four cogs, covered them with a thin layer of Irish Cream paint, stamped them with a map stamp and added more Vintage Photo to the edges. Then I cut out letters and a number from my new (and rather lovely) Word Play die, covered them in Nougat paint, edged with Vintage Photo and adhered them to the cogs. I hope Cam has a wonderful birthday!
