WOYWW 146

Well it's Wednesday again and since last week I have had sad news...
My lovely Vagabond before I 'interred' it in it's packaging!
My gorgeous, wonderful die cutting machine that David loving bought for my birthday has gone to a better place... Goodbye Vagabond... I loved you...! However it is winging it's way to the factory so hopefully there will be a diagnosis or a new one... time will tell! In the meantime I haven't made a mess. No sir! I've been a tidy girl so as there is nothing to see...
Well  I suppose there is the gap where my Vagabond was... (the white wires are from my fairy lights and the black bit is my Melt Pot)
Also I have to show you my new pens which I knew I needed as soon as I saw the advert on TV (very easily influenced! I heart these loads! I only want them to write with and they make my writing look fab-u-lous (well - better than with a biro anyway!)  I thought I'd share with you two other things:
The first is my fabulous WOYWW badge - am thrilled to have one and will wear it with pride at the upcoming Ally Pally event so do stop me and say hi if you spot it! (sorry about the greasy thumb print - not really sure where that came from!)
The second share is my offering for Tim's March tag. Details can be found here on how to make it - Tim is much better at explaining than I am! I didn't have the wood grain stamp (I didn't think I'd use it but maybe, just maybe, I was wrong!) so I used the wood grain texture folder with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.
I used Vintage Photo Distress Embossing Powder on the butterflies which worked well I think... The foliage was inked with Alcohol Inks.
I really enjoyed making it so I really should catch up and do the February tag too! Anyway, thank you, as always for visiting and please do hop on over to visit the Queen of desks, Julia, where other creative spaces await your perusal!

Gah, the thumb print is probably mine..hope no-one from forensics is watching! Shame about your vagabond, hope you arent lonely without it for too long. They are starting to get a bit of a reputation.
Love the tag..have seen the wood grain stamp and now the texture...both are utterly lovely.

I love how your "studio" sign makes patterns on your desk in this lovely March sunshine...
have a good day, my friend!

Does it have to go far to be fixed? It weighs a ton, so was wondering about the cost of the postage...So sad for you, but hopefully you can get another one. Feeling your pain. Nice clean desk too and fabulous tag.

Looks like you've been keeping busy, Sorry to hear about your VB, but if it's gone back to sizzix then they will put it right, they did for me, and it only took about a week to get back. The only thing you will find is you'll want to cut loads of dies now u don't have it, I did and it drove me mental lol
Love yout tim tag, the embossing folder looks great. Oh i also have those pens hehehe,

Like May I have the Big Shot, mine is electrical like the Vagabond and it does 'act up' occasionally. Hope you get a good resolution. You have done a great job on your tag. Anne #66

I'm glad you didn't own the wood texture stamp because I think the wood texture embossing folder ROCKS this project. It looks like a piece of nature come to life right there on your desk. Are your new pens Stabilo? I have some of those and I love them. Sorry the Vagabond is ill. I hope it is better soon. Happy WOYWW Judy #134

Sorry about the poorly vagabond. I keep thinking about getting one and then hear about breakdowns so I'm hanging on. Love your tag and the AI foliage finishes it off perfectly.
