1 January 2013

Happy, happy New Year! I hope 2013 is your best year yet!
I have decided to make my New Year's Resolution to be to participate in Kate Crane's journal challenge. Much more information can be found here. These are my calendar pages for January 2013. I was thrilled with this and then I made a red page elsewhere and look the red has bled through the spine onto this page! Oh well! That's all part of the learning process I guess! If you know how I can stop this happening in the future I'd be really really grateful!

I really need to thank the lovely Kitty for my Dylusions journal that she bought me for Christmas - I LOVE it!!! Thank you so much Kitty xxx

Happy New Year! Love your calendar page, it's gorgeous. Same thing happened to me with colour bleeding through to other pages. I wonder if putting a cloth or a wad of paper towel against the centre of the completed page would prevent at least some of it?

What a lovely page! I haven't used my new journal yet, but I think you probably have to go with the bleed-through! Kirsten's idea is a good one, will try that when I start in mine. Happy New Year, hope it is spectacularly good for you. Much love.

That looks fabulous Gabrielle!
I've just signed up for a Julie Fei-Fan Balzer Journal course, & she puts masking tape down the spine of her journal pages, & gessoes over it, to stop colours bleeding through from other pages. Hope that helps.
Happy new year!
