For this month's challenge over at Country View Challenges is "How does your garden grow?" and there might just be a surprise guest designer...!
This is a little hanging using the fabulous PaperArtsy stamps designed by my incredibly talented friend Lin Brown. The little MDF plaque was covered in Snowflake and then Beach Hut PaperArtsy paints.
I stamped the leaves with Hyde Park paint and then sanded the whole piece for a shabby, aged look. For a little definition I drew round the leaves lightly with a fine white pen. The flower stamp was covered with white and blue paint and stamped onto grungepaper. A little Broken China Distress Ink on the very edge of the petals (and for the sentiment) and Gathered Twigs on the edges of the plaque finished it off!
I hope you join in with us this month! We're looking forward to seeing your garden projects!
