What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 124

Warning! This post is very photo heavy!
The base!
The outside!
I would like to thank the lovely Julia for hosting the weekly fascinating nosey round people's creative spaces and I am pleased to join in as my incredibly heavy hints are finally over! I am soooo excited that I have my own Studio, my own crafty space! I haven't really had my own space since Uni and as I showed you last week I have been squatting in a corner of David's study it is incredible to have so much space! So a corner of the garden has turned into a Studio and I am busy trying to decant the contents of the study into it! So this is what it looks like at the moment! There's still oodles of things to bring down but it is already very exciting and I've been able to start creating in here! Some of my creations have been put on the wall and it is incredible to see the things I have made around me - and a few things others have made and kindly given - such a creative space!
There's even a spot for She Who Eats Art!

On my desk is a lot of sticks (appropriated from a well known coffee shop!) and 60 skulls and crossbones ready to teach 60 children how to make a pirate ship! Thank you for stopping by and sharing my news! If you're local - you are so very welcome to pop by! Gabrielle x

That space is going to be fab - but hope you have a heater.... it's getting decidedly chilly!! I "borrow" some of those sticks too from time to time but normally using them for stirring or mixing.... good luck with your pirate ship.
She who eats art looks well content with the space too....

Brilliant idea - not enough space in the house - go outside! I wish you many happy crafting days (and few doggy eating art days) in your new space :)

Bridget #28 so jealous, wish I had a whole large room to myself although hubby would disagree with that as I have taken over the dining table and room hahaha, next week I will show the rest of the dining room and floor that I have taken over lol

How brilliant to have your own space! Many happy hours are ahead of you, just tweaking and having fun! And that's before you can start making stuff! Definitely get a heater though! Have fun with the kids!

Like Helen, I hope you have some good heating in there to keep it comfortable and to stop all your papers getting damp. So long as you are warm and comfortable, you will really have fun in your own little space. Have fun setting it all out.

If I lived a bit closer, like across a pond, I would drop in to help celebrate your new craft space. Love that you are "decanting" the contents. Too awesome. Happy WOYWW from # 2.
