Well it's Saturday and it's been a bit of a week - I am really ready for a couple of days off! So, I'm on my third lot of washing, the household shopping has been done and I can finish my tag for DragonsDream Tag It On challenge which is Alice inspired this time. I did a lot with Alice stamps and Graphic 45 paper last June so I had all the bits I needed but I wanted to do something slightly different!
I cut out my tag from an old cardboard box lid and removed one of the paper layers to reveal the corrugated cardboard underneath.I didn't waste too much time making sure that I'd removed all of the top layer of paper from the corrugations - I like effect of some left behind! I cut Alice and an advert from one of the Graphic 45 papers and an ATC from another.
Alice was painted using Portfolio pastels and then I edged her, the advert, ATC and whole tag in Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The words are from the stamp set, stamped in Coffee Archival Ink and edged as before.
The clock face (how else will the White Rabbit know he's late?!) was painted in Limelight Fresco Finish paint, a foliage flower was painted in Sky Fresco Finish paint. The Game Spinner was painted in Limelight and the head of the brad was painted with Sky. I really enjoyed relaxing and making something different - it was the perfect antidote to my week! Hope you have a great weekend!
