Friends for Life
It's my turn again over at the Country View Crafts Project blog. Last time I made something for the boys - this time it's the girls' turn!

Thank you Crafty Boots!
Today is my last post for Crafty Boots. The team have been some of the most supportive people I have had the pleasure to meet (and, unusually, for blogland I have actually met them!) It is time for me to bow out and allow more people the chance to work alongside this really talented bunch.
I had the honour of choosing my final theme and I chose 'thank you' - I think you can see why! I was their first ever winner with this project and ever since then I have been on an amazing journey. So a huge thank you to Stephanie-Emma for your friendship and support, and to Dionne, Zoe, Sandra, Sara, Helen and the rest of you wonderful, wonderful folk for accepting me into this terrific group...
I hope you join in with the theme this fortnight - I'd love to see how you say 'thank you'!

Navigate
This fortnight's theme at Dragons Dream Tag It On is chosen by my rather lovely friend and sometime partner-in-crime Helen and is the letter N and to use a stencil (with the usual rule to include a tag and at least one stamped image).
I had been desperate to use this bird die from Tim Holtz and it didn't disappoint! The stencil I used made the dots - the stamps were all from Tim Holtz. I do hope you'll join in with us this time!

Imagine
This fortnight's theme at Dragons Dream Tag It On is chosen by the rather lovely Elizabeth and is the letter I and butterflies (with the usual rule to include a tag and at least one stamped image).
You can't tell on the photo but the basis for the tag was Shabby Shutters Distress Ink (which is green!) - the butterflies are stamped on to the tag and then again onto tissue paper and I painted the reverse of the images and then cut them out.
I hope you'll pop over and see the other terrific projects from the DT and then feel inspired to join in!

Superhero
For my second project this month for Country View Crafts Challenges I thought about my dressing up loving son and when I found this photo it just had to be used! Tom LOVES dressing up and using his imagination in play (he's hoping to be an actor when he's older so he's clearly practicing now!).
The paints are from PaperArtsy and the arrows are from one of Tim Holtz's stencils. The superheroes were coloured with Portfolio pastels on a black and white photo. Hope you'll join in with us this month!

Totally Yellow...!
Amongst the terrific inspiration on the PaperArtsy blog this week Jo used teal and her flower stencils to great effect. I really loved what she made and wanted to have a go myself. I don't have Jo's stencils, but I do have Lin's and as I wasn't using the same stencils I thought I'd use a different colour, so I used Yellow Submarine...! Thanks for the inspiration Jo!
Noble Motives
The theme this month at Country View Challenges is 'Only Men Allowed'. I love Oscar Wilde's witty comments and this one leapt off the page! The dapper chaps are a PaperArtsy stamp that seemed a perfect fit with the quote!
The tag had paint thinly scraped across it with a palette knife in many layers which creates lots of texture in the background and a perfect home for my smart chaps! I hope you'll join in with us this month - there's always a prize up for grabs and a chance to be a guest on the DT! Don't forget it's Father's Day in the UK this month so that might prompt some ideas!
