DDTIO - brown and crackle

For this fortnight's challenge at Dragons Dream Tag It On the rather lovely Julie Ann chose 'Brown and crackle'. For some reason my post didn't, well, post last week and I've only just spotted it! Hey ho - sorry for being late y'all.

As always the rules are to use at least on stamp and a tag! I used Chocolate Pudding and Snowflake paints from PaperArtsy and lots of JoFy stamps! We very much hope you'll join in with us - we LOVE seeing your art!

From the heart

For my second project for the Shabby Chic theme at Country View Crafts Challenges this month I used one of my precious 'Found Relatives' cards. I made loads of roses for my first project and so I wanted to use them on another! I covered a piece of kraft card in a thin layer of white paint and I die cut a 'shelf' for the card to sit on and a heart. I gave them both a quick sand so that they were even shabbier! The ideaology was painted and then rubbed back. I added a small piece of card behind it and then added some Tim Holtz rub-ons to it and the heart. I hope you will join in with this month!
Thank you, as always, for popping by!

DDTIO - Green and quotation

So another fortnight is upon us and at DragonsDream Tag It On has a new theme chosen by... me! It's green and a quotation! Please interpret the theme as you chose and make sure you add a tag and at least one stamp. I used loads of my favourite Wendy Vecchi art stamps for this tag - love these stamps! I hope you can join in with us this time!

Flamingo boy

My daughter, Freya, is a keen Pinterest gal and found this quotation. Thought it seemed prefect for my small Moleskin journal and this page was born! I stamped out six of the little chaps on tissue paper and coloured in the sixth.
Thank you, as always, for popping by!

June

It's June already! This year is whizzing by! June is my daughter's birthday month and I had a request to include a mermaid as my (soon-to-be 15) daughter would like to be a mermaid when she grows up!!! I blame her parents who have repeatedly told her she can be whatever she wants to be...! Not sure I got the mermaid right but it's on there as requested!
The page was made with Fresco paints and some favourite stencils. The border is an Emma Godfrey stamp on tissue paper.
The stamps are all Emma Godfrey for PaperArtsy except the crown which is a Lynne Perrella stamp. The stencils are Emma Godfrey and Wendy Vecchi.
Thank you, as always, for popping by. If you'd like to see more calendars then pop by Kate Crane's Art Journal Calendar challenge page on Facebook. More of mine from this year are here.

Shabby Chic

The latest challenge at Country View Crafts Challenges is Shabby Chic. I haven't made anything to fulfil this theme for ages so it was great to make roses, dye ribbon and do lots of die cutting! I covered a large piece of kraft card in a thin layer of white paint and die cut the shapes. The bird was lightly coloured blue and the greenery, well, green! The ribbon was stained with Vintage Photo Distress Stain. We hope you'll join in with us this month, and please do pop over and see my incredibly talented Team Mates projects - they're amazing!
